Hippos and Popcorn

Sometimes Andy REALLY doesn't mind that he is too young to go and do what Abby does. Like when Abby gets to go to the neighbor's house for the afternoon to play. He asks (demands) Daddy to get down Abby's "Hippos" and play with him. There was no one home to be mad at him for playing with them. No one to yell at him that he is doing it wrong. He just gets to sit and play Hippos with Dad in his PJs. Good times...

Sissy? What Sissy? Who needs a Sissy when you have HIPPOS?!?!?



Or when Daddy takes Abby on a Date Night to see the Winterhawks at the Rose Garden. Andy got to stay home and enjoy a new found friend - the hot air popper. Glad I saved it all these years since Andy can't have microwave pop! But, he thinks the air popper is pretty dang cool - his first power tool! :)

We vegged out with our Popcorn and Elmo movie. Life was good...



That bowl was 3/4 full when he started. Nothing but kernels when he was done. Where does he put it all?!?

Kiddie Contest 2011

Most of you have already seen these. But, I had to post them here as well. The 2011 Kiddie Contest photos. Love the photos at the end. HATE getting them done. BUT, this year my Dad was a HUGE help. So, other than getting two kids out of the door at 8am, and the drive down there, it was a BREEZE! Dad had gone and put our name in right at 9am, so we were next up when we got there. Thanks Dad! Sure beats the HOURS I have waited there in the past!!!
